Web.com's Privacy Policy covers all the data Web.com collects from visitors to its website and from its Customers. Web.com's Privacy Policy does not cover data generated by Web.com's Customers' websites.

The Privacy Policy allows Web.com to modify it at any time. Historically, however, such changes are rare.

Does the Privacy Policy allow Web.com to sell my information?
The Privacy Policy does not allow Web.com to sell information that is covered by it. The Privacy Policy only allows Web.com to disclose information to Web.com's "trusted affiliates, independent contractors and business partners".

Here is an excerpt from the relevant part of the Privacy Policy:
Web.com may use personally identifiable information collected through our website to contact Users regarding products and services offered by Web.com and its trusted affiliates, independent contractors and business partners, and otherwise to enhance Users' experience with Web.com and such affiliates, independent contractors and business partners.

Does the Privacy Policy allow Web.com to send me spam?
"Spam" refers to unsolicited commercial e-mail. Web.com reserves the right to send communications to Web.com customers and persons who provide their personal information to Web.com through Web.com's website. If a person who has provided such information to Web.com wishes not to receive such communications from Web.com, that person may send an e-mail with the word "Unsubscribe" in the header to privacy@corp.web.com.

Does the Privacy Policy address Web.com Customers who send spam?
Web.com does not allow its Customers to send spam to third parties. This rule is not addressed in the Privacy Policy, however, but rather in the Acceptable Use Policy. Each Web.com Customer is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy and any person who believes an Web.com Customer may have violated the Acceptable Use Policy may report that violation to abuse@corp.web.com. Web.com investigates reports of such abuse and may take action, including account termination, against Customers violate the Acceptable Use Policy.

If I am an Web.com Customer, does the Privacy Policy govern how I may collect data from visitors to my website?
The Web.com Privacy Policy does not relate in any way to the manner in which Web.com Customers may collect data from visitors to their websites. Web.com does not collect personally identifiable information from visitors to the websites of Web.com's Customers.
Each Web.com Customer is responsible for its own compliance with applicable privacy laws and legal requirements. To the extent any data pertaining to visitors to the website of an Web.com Customer may reside on an Web.com server (for example, connection log files for a Customer's website) such data is subject to the confidentiality provisions of the Terms of Service.

If I complete the "Opt Out" form, will it affect my hosting service from Web.com?
An Web.com Customer may complete the "Opt Out" form and experience no effect on that Customer's hosting service. Please note, however, that the "Opt Out" will affect only commercial solicitations from Web.com. Web.com reserves the right to communicate with its Customers regarding their hosting accounts at Web.com.
