Only 17 percent of small business owners plan to invest in SEO this year, according to the Web.com Small Business Digital Trends report. The study, conducted by Web.com in partnership with Dr. David Ricketts, Innovation Fellow in the Technology and Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard, suggests many small business owners don’t understand the importance of SEO or lack the resources and expertise to handle it.
