If you never want email to be deleted from your Webmail as a result of any actions taken on your Android device, follow the steps below:
- Open the account in your Mail Application.
- Tap the More Options, which is usually indicated by three vertical dots in the top right corner of your inbox.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Manage Accounts.
- Tap the account that you are modifying.
- Tap More Settings at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Incoming Settings.
- Select Never under the section that reads Delete email from server.
When I attempt to send a message, the message sits in my Outbox and does not reach the intended recipient. How do I update my Outgoing Server settings?
To update and verify the Outgoing Server Settings, follow the steps below;
- Open the account in your Mail Application.
- Tap the More Options, which is usually by three vertical dots in the tap right corner of your inbox.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Manage Accounts.
- Tap the Account that you are modifying.
- Tap More Settings at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Outgoing Settings.
- The SMTP Server should be listed as smtp.<yourdomainname>.
- The Security type should be set to None.
- The Server Port should be 587. Note: this is the most commonly accepted port, but your Internet Service provider may require the use of a different port. Please check with your provider if the above steps did not resolve the issue.
- Required sign-in should be checked.
- The Username should be the full email address of the account you are modifying.
- The Password should be the password you used when you created this mail account inside of your account manager.

How do I switch from POP3 to IMAP on my Android Device?

In most cases, it is likely not necessary to subscribe to any folders, like it is for many other devices and software. Your Android device is smart enough to know what folders are available on the server and will use them. However, in some cases, you may just need to select Show all folders when viewing your existing folders.

To configure an ActiveSync account on your phone to allow you to sync your mail, calendar, and contacts, follow the steps below:
- Tap Settings > Accounts > Add Account > Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
- Enter the Email address and password of the mail account that you are setting up.
- Tap Manual Setup.
- Enter your Email address and password.
- If prompted, leave the Domain field and the Exchange Server field blank.
- Select the box to Use secure connection (SSL).
If prompted with an SSL or secure connection warning, accept the warning or tap OK.
- Configure the account options, for example, Period to sync Email, Sync schedule, etc., as desired, then tap Next to complete your setup.
