How to Automatically Forward Emails in Cloud Mail

Cloud Mail, offered by Web.com, allows you to automatically forward emails, saving you time and keeping you organized. This guide will walk you through setting up auto-forwarding in Cloud Mail, whether you want to receive emails in another account or have someone manage them on your behalf. We'll also explore creating email redirect filters for more specific forwarding needs.

Automatically forwarding your emails might be useful, especially if you want to read or reply to emails from another account or require someone to receive and respond to emails on your behalf.

Setting Up Auto Forwarding

The following steps will guide you through the process of automatically forwarding your emails.

  1. Log in to your Cloud Mail account.
  2. Look for the gear icon on the upper right side of the page and click on it.

  3. Select All Settings from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click Mail on the left navigation menu, then look for the Rules drop-down. Hit the Auto forward button.

  5. In the pop-up that opens, do the following:
    • Enable the Auto Forward option to automatically forward your emails.
    • Enter the email address to which you want to auto-forward your emails.
    • Select the Keep a copy of the message checkbox to store a copy of the mail.
    • We will add auto-forwarding as an email filter. Enable Process subsequent rules if you want to apply additional filter rules after the auto-forwarding. Additionally, the auto-forwarding can be modified in the email filter settings.
      Enter the email address, then click apply changes

  6. Click Apply changes.

    You will notice that the toggle switch for Auto forwarding has been turned on in your email settings.

Creating Email Redirect Filters

If you wish to automatically forward your incoming emails to several mailboxes, you can create a redirect filter.

  1. Look for the gear icon on the upper right side of the page and click on it.

  2. Select All Settings from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click Mail on the left navigation menu, then look for the Rules drop-down. Hit the Add new rule button.

  4. Enter the Rule Name.
  5. Click Add Condition, then select To from the drop-down.

  6. Type in the mailbox address.

  7. In the Actions section, click Add action, then select Redirect to from the drop-down.

  8. Type in the email address to which you want to redirect your emails.

  9. Hit the Save button.
Note: You can only configure one auto forwarder and a maximum of 3 email redirect filters per mailbox.
