How to Set a Domain to Auto-Renew
Automatic renewal helps make sure your domain renews before expiration. Setting your domain to auto-renew will give you the ability to continue using it. Learn how to set your domain to auto-renew each year.
Important: This article applies to customers who log in through support.web.com. If you log in through Account Login Links, please refer to How to Manage Auto-Renew.
How to Set Up Domain Auto-Renewal
Follow these steps to set up automatic domain renewal.
- Log in to your account through support.web.com. The Home page of your Account Manager appears.
- Click the Domains tile.
- On the Auto-Renew column, click the toggle to turn on the domain you want to set to auto-renew yearly.
Note:
- Currently, the feature to toggle off auto-renew is disabled. If you want to disable auto-renew, you will need to contact Customer Support.
- Your domain cannot be set to auto-renew if it is less than 25 days from the next renewal date. Please call in to renew your domain if auto-renew is turned off and the domain expires in less than 25 days.

Learn how to set your domain to auto-renew to keep your domain active and avoid any issues with renewal. You can activate automatic renewal from your Account Center by accessing your domains. Note that if your domain is less than 25 days from its next renewal date, you will need to contact Customer Support to renew it.
