Online Store and Online Marketplaces – How to Enable Auto Sync

Important: This article only applies to Online Store and Online Marketplaces customers.

Overview

We use the Auto Sync feature to keep your product quantities up-to-date across all of your sales channels. When Auto Sync is enabled, we will send a quantity update (your syncable balance) to your sales channels each time there is a quantity change (e.g., new sales order, purchase order, work order, manual adjustment, file upload, or inventory feed update).

Your Ecommerce account is the master of inventory, so any quantity adjustments made directly on your sales channel won't be updated in Online Store or Online Marketplaces. Before you enable Auto Sync for your products, you will want to ensure the quantities are correct on your Ecommerce website, as we will override the quantities you currently have set on your sales channels once a quantity sync occurs.

How to Enable Auto Sync for Products in Bulk?

  1. In your Account Manager, click Ecommerce on the left side of the page.

  2. On the Ecommerce Details page, click Manage Store. Your Ecommerce Dashboard will open.

    Note: If you have more than one ecommerce product, you will need to select the product you want to manage first.

  3. On the left navigation menu, click on Store.

  4. Once the drop-down menu shows, select Products.

  5. For bulk action, you can click the checkbox on the upper left side of the table header.

  6. Once the items are checked, click the drop-down menu next to Bulk Actions and choose Turn On Auto Sync for Selected Products.

How to Enable Auto Sync for Individual Products?

 

  1. In your Account Manager, click Ecommerce on the left side of the page.

  2. On the Ecommerce Details page, click Manage Store. Your Ecommerce Dashboard will open.

    Note: If you have more than one ecommerce product, you will need to select the product you want to manage first.

  3. On the left navigation menu, click on Store.

  4. Once the drop-down menu shows, select Products.

  5. You may enable Auto Sync for your products by clicking the toggle buttons beneath Sync. Once done, you will receive confirmation messages in the lower-left corner of your screen.

How to View the Status of your Quantity Sync?

 

  1. In your Account Manager, click Ecommerce on the left side of the page.

  2. On the Ecommerce Details page, click Manage Store. Your Ecommerce Dashboard will open.

    Note: If you have more than one ecommerce product, you will need to select the product you want to manage first.

  3. On the left navigation menu, click on Store.

  4. Once the drop-down menu shows, select Products.

  5. Click on the three horizontal dots next to the Create Product button at the top-right  corner of the screen.

  6. Select Sync History.
