  6. In the certificate list, click the name of the certificate you just created.

  7. Find the CSR section and copy the entire text block, starting with -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE REQUEST----- and ending with -----END CERTIFICATE REQUEST-----.

  8. Provide this CSR to your chosen Certificate Authority (CA) when purchasing your SSL certificate. Each CA has a slightly different process, so check their guidelines if needed. You'll receive your SSL certificate file (.crt, .pem, or text form) after your purchase is complete.
