How to Upgrade Google Workspace

If you have an existing Google Workspace plan, you will now see an “Upgrade Plan” link on the Google Workspace Details page in your Account Manager. The link allows you to upgrade your Business Starter or Business Standard plan.

Note: If you currently have the Business Starter plan, you can upgrade to Business Standard or Business Plus. If you have the Business Standard plan, you can upgrade to Business Plus, the highest plan available. To help you choose which option is best for you, see the Google Workspace Plan Comparison Table.

Upgrading Google Workspace

To upgrade your current Google Workspace plan, follow the below steps:

  1. Log into your Account Manager via https://www.web.com/my-account/login.
  2. Click on Google Workspace on the left-hand side of your Account Manager homepage.

  3. Click on the Upgrade Plan link.

  4. Select your desired plan, Business Standard or Business Plus. To help you choose which option is best for you, see the Google Workspace Plan Comparison Table.

  5. Click the UPGRADE NOW button and confirm your order.
    Note: Regardless of the plan that you select, the current term (monthly or annual) and the number of users will match what you have once upgraded. After choosing the plan and clicking “Upgrade Now,” you will see the price difference between your current and upgraded plan. The price will be pro-rated based on how much time is left in your current term.

Once purchased, the upgrade will take up to 24 hours to process. There will be an alert in your Account Manager informing you about the processing timeframe.

After the upgrade is complete, the new plan will show as “Active” in your Account Manager.
