How to Move, Copy, and Import Emails on Cloud Mail
Managing your business emails efficiently is crucial in today's digital workspace. Cloud Mail offers powerful tools to move, copy, and import emails seamlessly. This article provides a detailed guide on leveraging these essential functions within Cloud Mail to enhance your email management.

Moving, Copying, and Importing an email is one of the essential functions of Cloud Mail. It will be beneficial if you wish to manually move an email to a separate folder or import an email that you have downloaded from a different email client.
In this article, we will discuss:
How to Move an Email
- Sign in to your Cloud Mail in your internet browser.
- In the address bar, type mail.<your domain name>.<your domain extension>. For example, if your domain is janesbagels and your domain extension is .com, you should type mail.janesbagels.com in the address bar.
- Select the email you want to move by clicking on that email under Inbox.
- In the toolbar, select the Move option by clicking on theicon.
- Once the pop-up window appears, please select a specific folder by clicking on it. The Drafts folder has been clicked in the image below as an example.
- Select Move.
- Once done, the email will be removed from the Inbox as it has been successfully moved to the Drafts folder. By clicking on the Drafts folder, the email will be visible.
- To select multiple emails, press and hold down the left Ctrl button under the Shift button on your keyboard. While holding it down, hover your mouse and choose the emails you wish to move by clicking on each email. It should highlight the selected emails, as seen in the image below.
- Drag the selected emails from your Inbox and drop them in the selected folder. The Drafts folder will be used as an example of this.
- Once done, the selected emails will be removed from the Inbox.
- To view the emails you have recently moved, click on the folder, which should be visible.
How to Copy an Email
Use the steps below to copy an email without moving the original email.
- Choose an email that you wish to copy by clicking on it.
- In the toolbar, select More Actions by clicking on theicon.
- Select Copy.
- Once the pop-up window shows, click the folder where you wish to copy the email. The Drafts folder will be used as an example of this.
- Click Copy.
- You will receive confirmation that the email has been successfully copied to that folder. Since you just copied the email from the Inbox, the email will still be visible from the Inbox folder.
- To show the copied email in the selected folder, click on it, and it should be visible.
How to Import an Email
Follow the steps below to import an external email saved in EML format, a common file extension used by email applications when exporting or downloading emails. This format, short for Electronic Mail, ensures compatibility across various email clients.
- Download the email you wish to import and ensure it uses an EML format.
- Once it is ready, access your Webmail in the browser via mail.yourdomain.ext.
- Drag the EML file out depending on which path you have downloaded it from. As seen in the image below, a message should show when you hover your mouse in the Inbox folder.
- Once dragged, drop the EML file to import the email. Once done, a confirmation message should show that it has been successfully imported.
- The imported email should then be visible in the Inbox folder.
