How to View the Open Source Library

Important: This article only applies to customers with Shared Hosting.

Open Source Library is an auto-script installer that simplifies the process of installing web applications. Whether you’re setting up a blog, an e-commerce site, or any other type of website, Open Source Library can save you time and effort.

 

This article describes how Web.com customers can view the Open Source Library. It details logging into your account and navigating to Hosting.

Viewing Open Source Library

To view the Open Source Library, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to https://www.web.com/my-account/login.
  2. On the left side of the page, click Hosting.
    • If you have more than 1 hosting package, you will need to select the package you would like to manage by clicking the Manage button 
  3. Scroll down to Site Enhancements, then click the Open Source Applications icon.

  4. You are provided with a list of open source applications available for one-click installation.
    Note: If you already have an application installed, you will need to click the View Open Source Applications button to get to the open source applications page.

  5. Click the Add New button next to the application you would like to add, then follow the installation instructions.
