Connect Walmart Marketplace Account to Your eCommerce Store

Before you can add products to your marketplaces, you must first integrate the marketplace. In this article, you will learn how to connect your Walmart Marketplace account to your eCommerce store

Before You Begin

Before adding a sales channel, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Set up your shop with each marketplace
  • Have an active seller account with each marketplace
  • Have the approval to sell on each marketplace

You will need your login credentials for each marketplace you want to set up. For the requirements to sell on Walmart Marketplace, please visit Walmart's website.

Steps to Connect Walmart Marketplace to eCommerce Store

  1. Log in to your account via https://www.web.com/my-account/login.
  2. On your Account Manager homepage, click eCommerce on the left menu. If you only have one eCommerce product, you will be automatically routed to your eCommerce dashboard.
    • If you have multiple eCommerce products, click LAUNCH next to the product you would like to update.

  3. In your eCommerce dashboard, click Store on the left menu and choose Settings from the options.
  4. Find the Sales Channels card and click on the Manage button.

  5. Under the Marketplaces tab, click Connect Marketplaces.

  6. You will see the different sales channels. Click Connect to Walmart.

  7. You will see a prompt to log in to the Walmart Developer Center.

  8. Go to My Account and select a login type.

  9. On Walmart's login page, enter your Email and Password and click on LOG IN.

  10. Once logged in, select Ecomdash from the drop-down menu and click Add Solution Provider.
  11. Set the options to Full Access if available. If not available, use View Only.
  12. You will see the API Keys for the Client ID and Client Secret. Copy both to use in the next step. 
  13. After copying the Client ID and Client Secret, go back to the eCommerce integration page for Walmart and click Continue
  14. Enter your preferred name for your Walmart account, then type in your Client ID and Client Secret
  15. For the Default Fulfillment Lag Time, you can choose the number of days between when the item is ordered and shipped.

  16. Click Save

You have connected your Walmart account. You will see Walmart listed as connected in your list of marketplaces.
