Web.com Renewal Center Guide

The Renewal Center is where you can see the dates when your products and services will expire or renew. You will also see the payment method associated with each product/service. In the Renewal Center, you will only have the ability to switch the payment method for each product/service. Learn more through our Web.com Renewal Center Guide.

How to Renew Your Web.com Services

Note: If you have been designated as a Technical User of an account, it means you can only renew a product or service of that account.

You can renew your domain name through the Web.com Renewal Center and other services you may have purchased (for example, hosting, email, SSL, etc.). Below are the steps to renew your services:  

  1. Log in to your account via https://www.web.com/my-account/login.
  2. Once logged in, click RENEWAL CENTER on the left side of your Account Manager homepage.

  3. Check the box next to the product you want to renew, then click the RENEW NOW button.
    • An alternative way to renew your domain with Web.com is by clicking on Domains instead of Renewal Center. Check the box next to the product you want to renew. Click on the ACTIONS drop-down, select RENEW, and click on Renew Now.

  4. You will be brought to your shopping cart. Select the Service Term you desire, then CONTINUE TO CHECKOUT.
     
    Note: If you have been designated as a Technical User of the account, you cannot renew using the payment methods saved on the account. You will only have the option to enter your credit card information (this information will not be saved in the account). If you need to update the payment information in the account, please reach out to the primary contact on file.

  5. Select your payment method and provide the requested information.  
  6. Read the Terms that apply, and place your order. 

Payment Methods Accepted for Web.com Renewal

Listed below are payment methods accepted for Web.com customers:  

  • We accept all major Credit cards. (AMEX, Visa, MC, and Discover)  
  • PayPal is only accepted if it was listed as a wallet item before the feature was disabled.  
  • Checks are accepted via postal mail only, and they could take 6 to 8 weeks to process. If your services are due to renew sooner than 6-8 weeks, renew via credit card to avoid service interruption. Moreover, checks are only accepted for renewals, not new purchases. 

How to Switch Your Payment Method

Single Product

Note: If you are designated as a Technical User of the account, you cannot add, edit, or delete payment methods within the account. If you need to update the payment information in the account, please contact the primary user on file.

To switch your payment method for a single product/service, follow these steps:  

  1. Log in to your account via https://www.web.com/my-account/login.
  2. Once logged in, click RENEWAL CENTER on the left side of your Account Manager homepage.

  3. Check the box for the product/service you desire to update. Then, click SWITCH PAYMENT.

  4. You will see a list of credit cards set on your account.
  5. Select the desired payment method for the product/service chosen. Then, click SWITCH

You have successfully updated your payment method! 

Note: Clicking the Manage Payment Method link will redirect you to the billing center. For more information, please see "How Do I Manage My Payment Methods?".

Multiple Products with the Same Account and Payment Method

If you want to update multiple products with the same account and same payment method, follow these steps:  

  1. Select the products/services you want to update by checking the box. Then, click SWITCH PAYMENT. A drop-down will show the products selected to make changes.
  2. Select the desired payment method for the products/services chosen. Then, click SWITCH.  

Multiple Products with the Same Account but Different Payment Methods

If you want to update multiple products with the same account but different payment methods, follow these steps:  

  1. Select the products/services you want to update by checking the box. Then, click SWITCH PAYMENT. A drop-down will show the products selected to make changes. However, the primary payment method will be highlighted instead of the existing payment method.
  2. Select the desired payment method for the products/services chosen. Then, click SWITCH.   

Multiple Products with Different Accounts and Payment Methods

A warning will pop up if you want to update the payment method for multiple products with different accounts and different payment methods. You will need to edit one account at a time. 

  1. Click Continue. You will then see the payment methods for the products/services selected for <Account Name 1>.
  2. Select a new payment method. Then, click Continue.  
  3. Next, you will see the payment methods for the products/services selected for <Account Name 2>.
  4. Select a new payment method. Then, click SWITCH.  

How to Use Filters

If you have multiple services or products, you can use the filters button to show the products/services with the same status.

  1. Log in to your account via https://www.web.com/my-account/login.
  2. Once logged in, click RENEWAL CENTER on the left side of your Account Manager homepage.

  3. Click on the FILTERS button in the top right section of the page.

  4. Scroll down to see the different Filters you can use.

By clicking the filter button, you will be able to categorize your products according to Expiration Date, Auto-Renew Status, Payment Method, and Account Name. You will then see the count/results of the number of products/services you have under a specific category or under the categories you've selected.

The Web.com Renewal Center is where you can manage the renewal and expiration dates of your Web.com products and services, including domain names, web hosting, business email, Google Workspace, and more.
