eCommerce: Manage Shipping Options
Learn to manage shipping options like a pro and take control of your eCommerce fulfillment. This step-by-step guide will empower labels to understanding your shipping data, we'll cover everything you need to optimize your shipping workflow.
After setting up your store and its inventory in your eCommerce account, you will need to configure your shipping module.

How to Create a Shipment
Follow the steps below to find the order(s) you would like to ship to create a shipment.
- Navigate to the Store drop-down menu from the left navigation menu of your eCommerce dashboard.
- Once the drop-down menu shows, click on the Sales button.
- From the Bulk Actions drop-down, select Create Shipping Order.
How to Generate a Shipping Label
After creating a shipment for an order, you can now generate a shipping label using the carrier you recently added to your eCommerce dashboard.
- Select Shipments under Sales.
- Click the vertical ellipsis for any order for which you wish to generate a label. Then, click View.
- Locate the horizontal ellipsis next to the Save button and click Generate Label.
- Provide all the information needed, as seen below. Once done, click Generate Label.
Important:- Charges for shipping rates and label printing will be paid through your personal Carrier account when using the following Carriers: UPS, FedEx, DHL eCommerce, Amazon Prime, and Custom Carrier.
- Charges for shipping or label printing when using our Direct Integration Carrier options will be billed to the primary payment method on file with Web.com: USPS, Canada Post, and DHL Express.
- Lastly, click the Print Packing Slip option.
How to Cancel a Shipment
After creating a shipment for an order, you can also cancel the shipment should it no longer need to be processed.
- Select Shipments under Sales.
- Click the vertical ellipsis to cancel any order. Then, click View.
- Locate the horizontal ellipsis next to the Save button and click Cancel Shipment.
- Canceled shipments will remove the shipment from the Ready to Ship list. You can generate a new shipment for this order by navigating back to Sales → Orders.
- Once a label has been generated for the order, you will use the Void Label option instead, which will cancel the label and the shipment.
How to Void Labels
If you need to cancel a shipment but have already generated a label for it, you will need to void the label instead to cancel the shipment.
- Select Shipments under Sales.
- Click the vertical ellipsis for any order you wish to void a label. Then, click View.
- Locate the horizontal ellipsis next to the Save button and click Void Label.
- Voiding a label also cancels this shipment and removes it from the Ready to Ship list. You can generate a new shipment for this order by navigating back to Sales → Orders.
- If you are using USPS, DHL Express, or Canada Post as the carrier, voiding a label will process a refund of those charges to your Web.com account automaticall. No additional action is required to receive the refund, which will be processed within 3-5 business days.
View Shipment Label History
Follow the steps below to access all your past shipping labels using the Shipping Labels option.
- Select Shipments under Sales.
- Click the drop-down arrow on the upper right corner of the page, then select View Shipping Labels.
- From the Shipping Labels page, you can review all of the labels generated and their status and see what orders are associated with labels.
