- You will receive your Recovery Key. Copy it and save it in a secure place since you will need it to access your Account Manager when you lose access to your email address on file. Click FINISH.
- 2 Step Verification has been activated. Click the CONTINUE TO MY ACCOUNT button to close the pop-up window.
- You will now get a verification code to your verified email address every time you log in to your Account Manager. The email address sending the verification code will end with verify.web.com. If you did not receive the verification code in your inbox, make sure to check your spam or junk folders.
How to Disable Two-Step Verification
Follow the steps below if you would like to turn off 2-Step Verification.
- Log in to your Account Manager via https://www.web.com/my-account/login.
- Click your user profile, then select My Profile from the drop-down menu.
- In the Security section, click on the DISABLE button in 2 Step Verification.
- Confirm the changes by ticking the checkbox to acknowledge that you understand the risk of disabling 2 Step Verification. Then, click DISABLE.
