Step 3: Use the Move Options

Step 5: Preview and Save or Update Your Page/Post

Always preview your page before publishing to see how the modules look on different devices. Once satisfied, click the Publish or Update button to make your changes live.

Delete Module

Deleting a module or block in WordPress typically refers to removing a specific block within the Gutenberg editor, which is the default block editor in WordPress. If you're looking to remove a block from a post or page you're editing, here's a straightforward guide:

Step 1: Open the Post or Page

Log into your WordPress dashboard and navigate to the post or page where you want to delete a block.

Step 2: Select the Block

Click on the block you wish to remove. When you select a block, a toolbar will appear above it, and its borders will be highlighted.

Step 3: Use the Options Menu

On the toolbar that appears above the selected block, you'll find an options menu, typically represented by three vertical dots. Click on this menu to open it.

Step 4: Choose 'Remove Block

In the dropdown menu that appears, look for an option that says Delete. Click on this option to delete the block from your post or page.

Alternative Methods

  • Keyboard Shortcut: After selecting the block you want to remove, you can simply press the Delete or Backspace key on your keyboard to remove it.
  • Drag and Drop: If you're reorganizing your content and decide you no longer need a specific block, you can also drag it out of the content area, which will effectively remove it from your post or page. However, this method might not be as direct or intuitive as using the options menu or keyboard shortcuts.
