If you purchase or renew your domain for 8 years, it will last 8 years. Domain Expiration Protection is connected to your domain purchase and offers extra value and longer-term protection when purchasing or renewing the associated domain for extended periods. For all Website Plans, prices displayed are billed for the first term upfront at time of purchase, and will automatically renew at the then current rate to the payment method on file, based on the original term selected.
Free Domain and Private Registration: Current renewal is $18.99/year for a .COM domain and $15/year for Perfect Privacy. Offer valid only for (1) domain names registered with Web.com; (2) .com, .net, .org, .info, or .biz extensions (.co also available for additional fee); and (3) generally available domain names and not for any Premium Names. Free domain name limited to one per order.
If you cancel within the first year, please note there is a non-refundable domain fee of $15 for the domain name. The fee not only covers our own costs, but it ensures that, even if you’re dissatisfied with your experience at Web.com, you won’t lose your domain name. Upon payment of the domain fee, you’ll be free to transfer it or simply point it elsewhere. Please note, however, that newly registered domains cannot be transferred to another registrar during the first 60 days of the registration period. If you elect to renew your domain name, you will retain ownership of the domain name until the end of its registration period.
All plans and products above will automatically renew to the card on file. You can cancel at any time prior to the renewal date located in your account manager.
